Verdict
Gordon Elliott and Henry De Bromhead dominate this with five of the six entries. The latter's Champagne West completed a double in January including a Listed contest before taking on Sizing John in championship events at Cheltenham and Punchestown. He'll find this more to his liking though stable companion BALKO DES FLOS has a fitness advantage. The brilliant winner of the Galway Plate on good going, he started favourite in a Grade 2 over this trip at Gowran but had no answer to A Toi Phil. However, a bad error at the third-last handed the initiative to the winner and with a likely stronger pace here he can take his revenge. Tiger Roll, this year's National Hunt Chase winner at Cheltenham, will be much better for his recent run at Wexford while Munster National runner-up Alpha Des Obeaux ran well enough in the Grade 1 JNwine.com at Down Royal. The veteran Real Mor had his heyday in the Powers Gold Cup back in 2013.
