Verdict

Local Celebrity has been a beaten favourite on his last three starts and looks very one-paced. He won't get many better chances but is taken on here with GARRYNCURRA. Paul Nolan's charge made a very promising start at Navan in February and, though well beaten when fancied at Cork subsequently, that didn't look his form and he can gain his first success. Winning point-to-pointer Cooldine Run has run quite well in bumpers on ground much quicker than he would have liked but Jack The Pirate could prove a bigger threat as he has performed with credit three times at Punchestown, including on his debut, so may not take much getting ready.
