In depth

Verdict

Veteran YOUNGNEDOFTHEHILL (NAP) was desperately unlucky not to win last season in better company than this. He was entitled to need his run at Bellewstown last month and Shane Nolan has booked Paul Townend today so a big run is anticipated. Chief Of Police had had a couple of runs over inadequate distances on the Flat since winning over fences in March and could be interesting. Westernerona still has scope and can be forgiven a poor run at Limerick but Important Message needs to bounce back from unseating his rider at the first in a chase at Tipperary and the easing of conditions is a concern. Broder arrives in good form, however, and shouldn’t be far away again.
