Verdict

Lisa's Legacy won twice on the Flat in the UK and looked a certain future winner when runner-up behind The Plan Man here in April. He didn't stay 2m5f on his next start a month later. Walk To Freedom was one of the few to tough it out in heavy going here in November but that could have taken its toll as he was beaten a long way at Thurles a couple of weeks later. Maeve Delight finished mid-division on her debut at Thurles and was beaten a long way but she took a long time to warm up and was staying on late. Deserter is bred to be a sprinter though wouldn't be running here unless thought capable of staying the trip though it's SQUOUATEUR who catches the eye on breeding. Charlie Swan's newcomer cost 105,000 euros and his dam has already produced winners with her first two runners so a successful start is anticipated.
