Verdict

Hurry Henry ran very well in a huge field over hurdles here last month so it's a surprise to see him making his debut in a bumper. SAMSON BILL was the only one to make a race of it with the long odds-on Pylonthepressure at Thurles and was a long way clear of the third. The winner is very highly regarded so this should prove within the scope of Denis Hogan's charge. Akito's close second to Ice Cold Soul on this track was a good effort but he didn't improve on his next run at Fairyhouse when quite a long way behind runner-up Tully East, who looks the main threat. The wonderfully-named Robin Des People is by a top jumping stallion and is worth a market check on his debut.
