Verdict

SIZING COAL cost connections a fortune after his point-to-point success and didn't start repaying the outlay until making a winning start over fences in a beginners' event at Navan. Time may tell he's better than a 128-rated chaser and though he has to concede weight to some in-form rivals he's given the verdict. She's Got Grit was in excellent form around this time a year ago and won't mind the conditions so she can go well while the veteran Jadanli will be better for Sunday's run at Limerick and he's on the same mark as when last successful. If Not For You landed an incident-packed beginners' event at Clonmel where he jumped and stayed like an old hand. He'll be a threat with further progress likely and he had Bothair Clei a long way behind though the latter was racing over a trip much too short as he showed with a battling success over 2m6f at Tramore later.
