Verdict
RISK FACTOR, runner-up to the high-class Appreciate It in a Grade 2 bumper at Leopardstown in February last year, hasn't done anywhere near as well over hurdles as expected but a close third behind Annexation, who was receiving 4lb and is now rated 140, at Navan in September would be good enough for this. Gloire D'athon, a bumper winner on heavy going in France, made a very promising start over timber for new connections but disappointed until a much better effort at Punchestown in May. Shamiyan and Secret Secret are exposed and haven't shown enough while Kasperenko has been very disappointing since landing a Kempton Listed race on Polytrack in 2018. Approach The City's two Flat victories have been at Dundalk.
