EXCELLING SPIRIT wasn't beaten far in a big field at the Curragh on her debut and, though beaten when a short-priced favourite at Fairyhouse, is the form pick and should go one better. Shelannga hasn't been seen since a fair debut behind Magical here in August and could just need this as could Mona Bell, who has a similar absence to overcome having run well at the Curragh that month. Patrice's Wish made a reasonable start at Dundalk in November but would need more here.
