In depth

Verdict

Despite his name, Christopher Roberts is one of Scandinavia's leading amateurs and won this last year on Mr Eko. He looks to have acquired a good ride again on VOLKIS O'BLUE and Andrew Slattery's charge, a winner at Punchestown last month, is taken to give his rider a double in the event. Tornant was behind the selection at Punchestown but the race conditions should allow him to get closer while a big weight shouldn't prevent Black Zorro from running well as he did at Navan last time. Fiery Oscar and High Class Show are others with chances while the presence of JT McNamara on Givemeabuzz will ensure he gets a top-class ride.
