Verdict
A very good turnout here and the management will be delighted to see the presence of the exciting MOSSEY JOE. Declan McNamara's charge, a Grade 3 winner over hurdles, made an impressive debut over fences when seeing off the potentially useful Ainama at Killarney and can continue in the winning vein before being rested until the autumn. Sarteano ran a fine race in a strong Punchestown handicap last time and will test any flaw's in the selection's make-up while The Last Derby is a very good chaser on his day and will have needed last month's run at Fairyhouse after a long absence. Politeo may prove to be the biggest threat however as Paul Nolan's five-year-old is a very progressive type whose easy victory on fast ground at Down Royal over Archie Boy was given a boost when the latter scored on Wednesday.
