Bahlwan, beaten 4l behind Sweetest Taboo at Bellewstown, reversed the form at Down Royal though a 7lb rise makes this more difficult. EARLY CALL, from a yard going well, started favourite for that latter event having scored at Navan earlier but didn't get the best of runs so is taken to make amends. Enough Said, landed a Bellewstown maiden before a fine run in a Down Royal handicap and Shane Crosse's claim is a major plus. Powersville has returned to form in no uncertain terms having won two of her last three and beaten narrowly in the other.
