Three-year-old have won five of the last six renewals and five favourites have also scored in the same period. Several of these met in a Listed contest over 5f at Naas in April when Velvet Flicker just got the better of Luisant, Snaefell and Walk On Bye in a driving finish. The winner hasn't progressed while the runner-up keeps finding one too good but Snaefell continues to give a good account wherever he turns up and is certain to get competitive. UK trainers have won this a couple of times recently and DEFINIGHTLY looks the part here. Roger Charlton's charge was on a hat-trick when strongly fancied for Ayr's Silver Cup after two soft-ground victories at Goodwood, the latter in Listed grade, but he appeared hampered by a poor draw that day and is expected to gain compensation.
