Verdict

The O’Brien clan have eight of the 14 runners here with Aidan saddling four. Ryan Moore rides Passion though his mount was beaten six lengths behind SEARCH FOR A SONG in this last year when Twilight Payment finished third. The winner has again been lightly campaigned with this in mind and can complete the double. Sonnyboyliston has won twice over 1m2f here but has improved since stepping up in trip and won the hugely-lucrative Ebor Handicap at York so deserves a crack at this grade. Baron Samedi loves testing ground and would be a threat to all if the going eases while Emperor Of The Sun beat the selection comfortably at Leopardstown in May.
