PINATUBO looked imperious when landing the Group 2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood to retain his unbeaten record, though may not have things his own way against Armory. The Ballydoyle colt has been making steady progress all season and though less than a length in front of Rebel Take in a Group 2 here last month had a bit in hand with both Geometrical and Roman Turbo looking held. The stable are also represented by Arizona and Toronto with the former, who landed the Coventry Stakes at Ascot, looking the better of the pair as he failed to handle heavy ground at Deauville.
