In depth

Verdict

These races are usually uncompetitive but not this one. Johnny Murtagh has entered two, including a reserve, with Richard Hughes on board Finding Nero, three times a winner already this year including at Gowran last time. The trainer will be riding Red Striker for Ger Lyons but the son of Sea The Stars has struggled since making a successful return at Cork in May. Ted Durcan gets the leg-up on KATTANI, a very easy maiden winner here before a fair run in a huge field of handicappers on a return visit and Frankel's rider can take this unique event. Joseph O'Brien rides his own stable's The Game Of Life, twice a winner from three starts at Dundalk last winter.
