In depth

Verdict

Ryan Moore has been let off Blenheim Palace, who he rode to victory at Navan in April, to ride ADDEYBB (NAP) for William Haggas which suggests there's major confidence in his mount, who was very impressive in last week's Wolferton Stakes at Ascot. He should prove too good for these and it's difficult to see Ed Dunlop's Global Giant overturning a 20l deficit from last week though he got no sort of run at any stage of the race and can get closer. Buckhurst looks a more likely threat as he followed his debut success with very good efforts behind Broome and Constantinople who have both done the form no harm. Georgeville is very much on the upgrade but takes a big step-up in class and will probably be heading to Galway after this.
