Although an absence of over a year is an obvious disadvantage, the form of LUSH LASHES is in a different stratosphere to these rivals and Jim Bolger wouldn't risk running her unfit to do a job. The brilliant winner of three Group 1 races, she hasn't been seen since fourth to Dar Re Mi in the Pretty Polly Stakes here last June but her overall form, especially when beating that winner in the Yorkshire Oaks run at Newmarket in 2008, puts her in a different league. If fitness lets her down then You'll Be Mine may be the one to take advantage as she should be the pick of the Ballydoyle pair with Johnny Murtagh on board. An excellent third in the Fillies' Mile at Ascot last September suggested there was plenty of success awaiting her this year but she ran moderately in the 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown in March and hasn't run since. Devoted To You is the other Aidan O'Brien entry and though she was a major disappointment in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket her juvenile form entitles her to respect. Shareen was well beaten when stepped into Listed company and John Oxx may have a better chance with the lightly-raced and very progressive Romie's Kastett, who won very easily at Gowran Park.
