Verdict

ASYMMETRIC arrives with a leading chance having won the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood last month. He beat the re-opposing Khunan and Gubbass with Perfect Power further behind. Fourth-placed Ebro River went on to land a Group 1 in Ireland so a bold bid is expected here from Alan King’s colt. Armor steps up in distance having won the Molecomb over the minimum trip at Goodwood while the Irish filly Quick Suzy landed the Queen Mary at Ascot over the same trip. The unbeaten Velocidad also represents Ireland having won a Group 2 at the Curragh in June while Have A Good Day had the measure of both Trident and Toimy Son in a Group 3 sprint here last time and makes most appeal of the home challenge ahead of Baghed.
