In depth

Verdict

UK raiders have a good record in this with Audarya bidding to repeat last year’s success. However, she ran below par behind LADY BOWTHORPE when Willie Jarvis’ mare landed the Group 1 Nassau Stakes at Goodwood last month. That was the latter’s first outing over today’s trip and there looks more to come. Thundering Nights had the measure of both Cayenne Pepper and subsequent Group 2 winner Insinuendo when winning the Group 1 Pretty Polly at the Curragh and Joseph O’Brien’s filly also has strong claims while Ebaiyra looks best of the home team having found only Broome too good in a Group 1 at Saint-Cloud last time.
