Verdict

A couple of progressive types take the eye in this. Summer Moon has returned a wide-margin winner over shorter trips the last twice now but has been raised a further 10lb. EMIRATES EMPIRE has gone up the same amount as he also bids for a hat-trick but is proven over the trip, having won by six lengths at Chelmsford last time, so Michael Bell’s colt gets the nod on that form. Skymax has plenty to find with Summer Moon and the latter’s stablemate Themaxwecan floundered in soft going in Listed company at Lingfield on his latest start. Durston and Buckman Tavern take a big step up in distance as both go handicapping for the first time.
