      Verdict

      Artistic Rifles returned to winning ways on the round mile course here a fortnight ago but is 5lb higher. Irreverent made a winning reappearance over 7f at Wetherby in April and attempts this longer trip for the first time but MOQTARREB finished runner-up over a mile at Newmarket on his return to action. Expected to improve now handicapping, Roger Varian’s Kingman colt can get off the mark today. Ginger Fox also ran well at HQ last time but Conaglen struggled at York on his handicap bow.
