Verdict

Pop World ended last year with a maiden win over 6f at Catterick while Drafted opened his account at Wolverhampton in October, though is 5lb higher. Rab Havlin allowed AMERICAN BELLE to make the running at Chelmsford last month and she returned a cosy two-length winner. Similar tactics will likely be applied here and she can go in again. Nuthatch won twice on the all-weather before encountering soft going at Nottingham while Eagle Day makes his handicap debut and the returning Majestic Newlaw has been gelded.
