In depth
Verdict
All Bleevable probably did not beat a great deal when landing a Fakenham seller last month and looks worth taking on here which we do with Jake Black, who gets the verdict over the consistent Tiger Frog and Pompeii. The last mentioned disappointed at Sedgefield last time but has claims on earlier form at Wetherby and Catterick. Tiger Frog has had just the one start since leaving the stable of Richard Guest for James Mackie's yard and showed a similar level of form when chasing home Al Mabrook at Catterick. He is entitled to be thereabouts again but preference is for Jake Black. John Quinn's four-year-old is unexposed over timber and comes here fresh from a win over an inadequate trip on the all-weather on Monday. He looks well treated back over hurdles, judged by that effort. Top weight All Rock Hard showed signs of ability again at Musselburgh last time and is another worthy of a mention, along with the consistent Reno. Leicester winner Niembro disappointed last time and is probably bets watched today and of more interest may be Mick Easterby's Cottam Grange, particularly if the market speaks in his favour. However, Jake Black holds solid claims and gets the vote.
