Verdict
A wide open contest rounds off the card and as usual with bumpers the market will prove all important, however the principals look to be Stoneyford Ben, Eskimo Pie, and Alcris and thew vote goes to Stoneyford Ben. The selection was a good third on his debut behind Moonstream, he is sure to have learnt from the experience and with conditions again to suit he will be hard to beat.Eskimo Pie rates the main danger he was just in front of the selection last time but he looked fitter on that occasion and for that reason is passed over.Alcris is a gelding by Alderbrook and is from a yard that has a good record in these events so is worth noting in the market. The Muratti won well on his debut but he struggled under his penalty last time. Of the remainder Our Lawman is another well bred sort but he may just need the run so for the winner we return to the experienced Stoneyford Ben.
