Verdict

Trois Vallees shaped better than his final position suggests on debut and it's reasonable to expect a step forward here, although the drop in trip is a question mark. The running of Buachaill when fourth last time was investigated by the stewards. It was an eye-catching run, so check out if there's any money for the Gregorian gelding. All four newcomers are noteworthy and the market should help to sort them out, with Kidwah making most appeal on paper. However, STAR ZINC made an excellent debut when a Yarmouth second and the winner has franked the form since with a facile win. The Fellowes colt should come on for the experience and is expected go close.
