Legally Fast, Explosive Fox and Kaluana Court are the three for the shortlist here and preference is for Kaluana Court. Legally Fast receives weight all round here and looks well treated. He is the epitome of consistency, having failed to finish out of the first three in four starts this season and was a winner two outings ago. On the strength of that victory he was made favourite at Nottingham last time , but was beaten seven lengths into third. He should be thereabouts, as should Explosive Fox. He too was a winner two outings ago and ran respectably last time at Redcar, finishing third to Let It Be. That form may not be good enough here though, and Kaluana Court is taken to atone for a disappointment last time. She chased home High Charter at Nottingham and was only denied by a neck. On the strength of that she was made favourite to score at Newmarket, but had to settle for fourth, beaten five lengths by Mersey Sound. That was a respectable performance, and Kaluana Court is taken to open her account for the season.
