Verdict

Genari, Yankee George and Sonny Santino head the shortlist for this hot seven furlong contest, and Genari is taken to resume winning ways. Mick Channon¿s Yankee George is progressing well and after a good debut second, he made no mistake at Epsom next time. He is improving rapidly and is only passed over reluctantly. Sonny Santino is another to be going in the right direction and after two placed efforts, he reached the winners¿ enclosure after scoring at Warwick. That success was only workmanlike however, and he may find this company too good. For the winner we turn to Genari. Having chased home Championship Point on his debut, he duly won next time at Salisbury, scoring in fine style. He then ran in the Chesham, a Listed contest at Royal Ascot, and finished a close fifth, once again behind Championship Point. That was a good run and Genari is unlikely to find anything of that calibre here.
