Verdict

EDWARD LEWIS drops back in distance having been overtaken in the closing stages over 7f at Newmarket a fortnight ago and finishing third. He should go close in a tight contest and has a fitness edge over the returning pair Tadaawol and Tanasoq, who both showed ability last year. Gift From God and Dreaming Lady are likely improvers having both run well on their respective debuts while the newcomer African Trader is related to a stack of winners and is worth a second glance in the betting.
