Verdict
Jump The Gun won in first-time cheekpieces over track and trip 12 days ago but is 6lb higher now. Cliffcake seeks a fifth win in six starts so has obvious claims while Billyb has been running well over a mile this season. FRESH HOPE (NAP) attracted significant market support in the Sandringham Stakes at Ascot but was done no favours by a low draw. She still travelled strongly for a long way and should have the pace to cope with a drop in distance having won on the round course here in May.
