In depth

Verdict

A tricky finale but Bungley is running well and placed in a higher-grade contest last time. Persian Royal has placed on Turf but his best runs so far have come on Polytrack. ALVEDISTON was just behind a subsequent winner when third at Newmarket and this looks a good opportunity for a first victory even though Darbucks arrives on a hat-trick after a couple of wins in Class 6 company. Snapcracklepop won on his handicap debut and reappearance at Nottingham and looks a threat.
