Verdict
There was a lot to like about the effort from Zomerlust from a bad draw when he raced at Ripon eleven days ago and he is selected over Secret History and Cape Quest, who are just a couple of the rest that can give the selection a good run for the money. That said, Treat Me Wild has already shown a good battling spirit and he can figure strongly in a race that is as wide open as they come. Cerebus is another to bear in mind as she has not really had much luck in her races so far but does possess plenty of ability. She has been given a chance off 73 and could be good value for at least one of the places. However, Zomerlust makes slightly more appeal if this develops into a scrap. The John Quinn-trained gelding has improved with each run to date and can add to his tally now that Robert Winston seems to have found the key to riding him.
