Verdict
A Momentofmadness won this in 2018 when racing off an 8lb higher mark. He was second to subsequent Group 1 winner Oxted 12 months ago with Arecibo fourth and Wentworth Falls fifth and Justanotherbottle, Orvar and Konchek further behind. Charlie Hills’ seven-year-old looked to be coming to hand again when third behind a couple of subsequent winners at Goodwood in July and is unlikely to be far away again. Soldier's Minute arrives off the back of a good second at York in a race in which the consistent Arecibo finished fourth - Han Solo Berger, Jawwaal and Justanotherbottle were further behind that day. Danzeno never seems to run a bad race but is only slowly slipping down the ratings. Mountain Peak has won twice over 5f at Haydock this season and drying ground is in his favour but BARBILL is Listed class at his best and he’s impressed at Haydock and Chester this year. As long as the going doesn’t turn fast, he could be the one to be on in this hot handicap.
