Verdict
TEES SPIRIT is a progressive sort and he showed himself to be on the upward curve by landing a big pot at Epsom following earlier victories at Beverley and Nottingham. Lullaby Bay was disappointing in Listed company at Ayr as her lesser-fancied stablemate was allowed to rule the roost but Rum Cocktail was impressive at Goodwood in June, though was well held when trying to follow that effort up. Han Solo Berger was a surprise winner at Yarmouth earlier in the season and the seven-year-old remains significantly lower in the handicap than had been the case with his previous handler.
