Verdict

Having shown promise in bumpers, Logan Rocks made a winning start over timber in a Huntingdon maiden in which Perfect Predator was a very disappointing odds-on favourite. He has a penalty to carry but his trainer had a winner here yesterday. BLAKENEY POINT and Borodin are potentially-useful recruits from the Flat. There are no stamina concerns surrounding the former and he won in Listed company last year so he gets the nod. Baron De Midleton may need to have his sights lowered but all-weather winner Spice War is a probably improver having showed his inexperience at Kempton.
