Verdict

This is a trappy affair and from a shortlist of SKYLLA, Jairzihno, Summerinthecity and Haltela we will side with Skylla. The selection won nicely on her debut at Nottingham and this well-bred filly looks a useful prospect. She looks to set the standard for the others here, although there are plenty of dangers. Jairzihno won a maiden over 6f in decent style last month and if he can build on that then he would have an obvious chance. Summerinthecity chased home Haltela at York last month which was a good effort on his debut, although he might be seen to better effect when he is upped to 7f. Haltela looks to be on an upward curve on the evidence of his win at York that day when he progressed nicely from his debut. He is another with a chance today, but in a tough race for punters to fathom we will stick with Skylla as the pick.
