      Verdict

Boy In The Bar is slowly returning to form and has slipped back to a winning mark so goes on the short-list. Sheepscar Lad is much improved and won over 5f here on his reappearance while last year’s winner Pipers Note is now 4lb lower and has been running well. He can confirm the form of 12 months ago with runner-up Dougan and fourth Wentworth Falls. EQUITATION is 3lb better off than when fifth behind Watchable here on his return to action. Still unexposed, Roger Varian’s four-year-old can turn that form on its head and return to winning ways. Naggers needs softer going and this may be too competitive for stable companion Related while Moonraker was disappointing at Nottingham last week.
