Yet another big field and John Dillon gets the nod to land this competitive handicap from Dream Of Fortune and Karmest. The selection is on good heart having landed a handicap hurdle at Sedgefield last time out and on the level this trip suits. He is 6lb higher than his last winning mark but will still be very competitive on ground he handles. The lightly raced Dream Of Fortune is open to improvement and was last seen winning a fair handicap at Lingfield last October. The major doubt is his ability to see out this trip, but connections clearly think it is worth a try. Calzaghe won at Wolverhampton over the trip back in September but has a bit to prove after a hurdling campaign. Flame Creek shoul handle conditions though the trip is on the short side for him these days, but there will be no problem on that score for Mixing, who has a feather weight and handles good to soft, and he could emerge as the most serious challenger to our selection John Dillon.
