Verdict

Love You Grandpa caught the eye after missing the break over this trip at Salisbury and shouldn’t be far away here. Royal Scandal did well to make a winning start at Newcastle but has to give 7lb to three potentially-useful maidens. The winner got first run on CROACHILL at Chelmsford and Roger Varian’s filly was also hampered off the final turn. She will have come on a bundle for that experience and is narrowly preferred to Windsor second Star Fortress.
