Verdict

Only a seven-year-old, Dingo Dollar has more scope than the majority of these over fences. His latest third in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury off today’s mark was a solid effort and he handled good ground at Ayr in April but he will be a short price in what looks an ultra-competitive handicap. O O SEVEN returned from a break here last month and got the better of Go Conquer in a driving finish. That suggests wind surgery has had the desired effect on Nicky Henderson’s gelding, who has always had a touch of class. Grand Sefton winner Warriors Tale was only headed close home when second in this last year but Federici wasn’t far behind and is better off at the weights. Along with Willie Boy and Calipto, Art Mauresque has done all of his winning over shorter trips but he was just beaten over 3m at Ascot two runs ago so can’t be ignored.
