In depth
Verdict
Resplendent Cee has been in good form of late following up a Bath conditions event victory with a creditable fourth in Listed company at Newmarket last time. However, all his best efforts have come on a faster surface and he looks worth opposing in these conditions. Birjand is a progressive type but is also an unknown quantity on a soft surface while Father Thames will handle the conditions but has been well below his best of late. Mauri Moon is not the most straightforward and Millennium Force needs to find a little on these terms so the TEAMtalk vote goes to King's Ironbridge. The classy four-year-old has winning form at Pattern level in similar conditions and has a good chance at the weights so may offer a bit of value in an open heat.
