Verdict
Aidan O'Brien saddled last year's victor in the shape of the subsequent derby hero High Chaparral and the yard will be aiming to follow up with Brian Boru. The juvenile overcame greeness to land a maiden first time out and showed he is progressing along the right lines when suffering a narrow defeat in a Group 3 at The Curragh earlier this month. The son of Sadler's Wells will relish these conditions and gets the TEAMtalk vote to continue the yard's recent record in this valuable contest. Tacitus is another who will appreciate the conditions and shouldn't be far away judged on an unlucky-in-running fourth in an Italian Group 1 last time but Norse Dancer is held by Bahamian Dancer on Royal Lodge form and the latter has shown his best form on a quicker surface.
