        Verdict

        Jalaad finished in front of a couple of subsequent winners when runner-up at Lingfield on last year’s debut. But he’s conceding weight to the three-year-olds today and CHATHAM HOUSE, rated 81, can take advantage. Richard Hannon’s grey was beaten less than a length at Kempton on last month’s reappearance and should have the edge on most of these. Jabalaly showed promise on last summer’s debut over a shorter trip here while Lyndon B was also thereabouts in a couple of starts last year and Brandy Spirit was narrowly beaten over 6f at Chelmsford in November. The $600,000 purchase Alkaraama and Destination, a half-brother to three winners, are newcomers to note for powerful connections.
