In depth
Verdict
GURU failed to land the odds at Kempton in August and has been off the track since. The 2000 Guineas entry had made a winning debut at Newbury earlier with several subsequent winners behind and gets another chance on that form. George Peabody and State Secretary showed some ability on their respective debuts and the latter is preferred to stablemate Lafan. Credence Star is a US-bred 400,000gns purchase while Hello Zabeel is a full brother to a Group 2 winner and Thaler is another newcomer to keep an eye on.
