In depth
Verdict
Mini Dare was well beaten on his return at Exeter but Simon Sherwood has his string in good form now and, with plenty of improvement anticipated, he gets the vote to resume winning ways ahead of Fantastico and Ravenscar. The last mentioned is lightly raced after just three starts, latterly over fences, and he is interesting back over hurdles off what could be a lenient mark. Fantastico looks the pick of the two Walton runners ahead of Sikasso, who was well beaten on his belated return and first run for the stable last week. Winning pointer Glensan was well beaten on his rules debut over fences earlier this month and is probably best watched, while top weight Abzuson has given little sign of encouragement so far this term. In a moderate contest Mini Dare, who is potentially well treated, might be worth an interest, especially considering the form of the stable and the booking of promising conditional Owen Nelmes.
