Kasthari, Cloudy Grey, Winsley and Fontanesi are all shortlisted in this handicap hurdle and the vote is given to Kasthari. The selection was a classy sort on the flat and although he has not yet translated that form to hurdles, he ran well last time when a good third behind Silvertown, and if he can brush up on his hurdling, he should take plenty of beating here. Cloudy Grey rates the main danger as he has had his problems but he is well-thought of by his trainer and he looked as though he was in need of the run when returning from a break last time at Haydock. If he is back to his best then he will certainly be involved at the finish. Winsley is dropped in grade so may be capable of taking some place money here, while Fontanesi has been a little disappointing of late but he hails from a leading yard so is entitled to respect. However, for the winner we return to Kasthari.
