Colonel Mak won this off a higher mark in 2012 and should have come on for a recent spin at Southwell. Barkston Ash finished third off a lower mark in last year's renewal while Lexington Abbey regularly made the frame last season and is closely matched with Tatisu on running in the Ayr Silver Cup. The latter's stablemates Withernsea and Khelman are others with claims and Shared Equity was progressive last year winning three times. Jamaican Bolt is 5lb higher than his win here in October while Basil Berry has been running well on the all-weather. But a defeat by Trojan Rocket in January gives the latter something to find with GOLDEN AMBER, who never looked like catching the winner when runner-up at Chelmsford last time but has a slightly easier task today and could run a big race at decent odds.
