Boppys Princess is taken to start where she left off, with Ticero, True Companion and Pespita just a few dangers in the finale. Boppys Princess improved no end last season, rising from 38 to 66 in the ratings after joining Richard Fahey. She handles any ground and should get the trip, being a half-sister to Laurel Prince, so rates the pick here with her trainer reporting her to have worked well for her return. Dangers abound, including Ticero who has the assistance of girl-of-the-moment Nina Carberry. Kevin Ryan's four-year-old is fit from racing on the sand and has good each-way claims at least. True Companion has never run at Doncaster before but did win a similar race to this on the Wolverhampton Polytrack in February under Emma Littmoden, and so should not be left entirely out of calculations either. Pespita is difficult to assess but was successful on her final start in Germany nearly two months ago. Kelly Harrison scored on Lucayan Dancer at Brighton in August and sits on him for the first time since then. He has his first outing since November but is another that can go well in this company along with Regents Secret who also returns to the fray, with the experienced Carol Williams in the plate. J R Stevenson was second in the Spring Mile here two years ago and although on the downgrade now, is fit from the all-weather. With fitness a major issue at this stage of the season, it will not do to row in too heavily, but a small wager on Boppys Princess may not go amiss.
