In depth

Verdict

GOOSE MAN (NAP) looked a smart chasing prospect when completing a double here just over a year ago. He fell at the first in the Paddy Power in December then took advantage of a much lower hurdles rating to land a Navan handicap. He's gone up 13lb but still looks well treated compared to his chasing mark. Aforementioned has only had five runs, winning a Limerick maiden in November and running well in a novices' contest at Thurles last time. Western Honour was sent to Ayr for a novices' contest last time and duly obliged. His overall form puts him in the frame for this while point-to-point, bumper and maiden hurdle winner Stay Humble has plenty of stamina and may not have been suited by quicker ground in his last two races. The Long Mile has been improving with every run and makes his handicap debut on what could prove a lenient mark.
