Verdict

Plan A hasn't been at his best for some time and is probably best watched for now though if Gordon Elliott has him right he'll take some beating. The market is best watched but the less-exposed NEAREST THE PIN looks the one to be on this time. Tony Martin's charge, a consistent performer over timber, was thought good enough to run in a Grade 2 on her chasing bow last year and though well beaten he produced a much better effort when last seen in October and should have been primed for his reappearance. Maller Tree is a very smart hurdler on his day and though well beaten on his chasing bow at Roscommon that will have done him the world of good and he's one to keep on the right side. Leblon hasn't done as well as expected over fences so far but looks the type to improve with experience.
