Josie Abbing was sent to Newton Abbot for a bumper a month ago and was heavily supported. She duly obliged under Richard Johnson but has a penalty as a consequence. Mademoiselle Penny and Sarah Ash Calum also carry extra for Flat victories as do the four-year-olds The Perch and Echo Park and the latter is much the higher rated of the quartet. IAMASTARTOO has now had 16 starts in bumpers and over hurdles without winning but her best run came over this trip in a handicap at Galway and she won't get many better chances to lose her maiden tag.
